Dear Zayna,

As a consumer, I’ve never taken the time to give feedback on any type of service.  However, I was compelled to write to you to truly explain how much you (and your instructors) have done for me!

Back in November 2009, I was having one of those “blah” days while checking out Boston.com.  Until an ad caught my eye ~ Yours!!  I have always heard about the benefits of Pilates but as an avid gym advocate, I was always skeptical of the results and doubted really how much Pilates could do for me.

I decided to give it a try and made an appointment at the Belmont studio to check it out.  You were the first person I met ~ and you made me feel so welcomed and comfortable.  As a newbie to the other side of the fitness world, you and your instructors made me feel as though I belonged there; and I knew it was a good fit for me and the perfect addition to my already established fitness routine.

I made it a point to make Pilates a part of my life; going on average to four classes per week.  And, just for fun, throw in two spin classes (which you have fantastic instructors for) as well.  When I tell you how floored I am at the results ~ I am NOT joking!  From November 2009 to present, March 2010, I “grew” about a half inch and dropped from a size 8 to a size 2/4!! I feel longer and leaner, more confident as well as less stressed out!  I’d have to say, finding Boston Body changed my life!!

Dear Zayna and BB instructors,

I was out of town on August 21 and I was not here to celebrate my one year anniversary at Boston Body Pilates in Belmont. However, I wanted to take a minute and share with you what you have meant to me. (And I must tell you that this is totally out of character for me. I might think about doing this, but never get around to it).

A year ago I was feeling fat and out of control. Being on the other side of the aging hill, I kept trying to convince myself this was normal. Don’t get me wrong, I have excersised more faithfully for 15 years more than most people I know. I have been to the gym at least 4 times a week, had tried a personal trainer, and at times during the summers would jog for 2 hours on a treadmill ever at least 3 times a week. In August of last year, I decided to try Pilates again. I had tried classic Pilates mat years ago, twice a week, with a teacher we called the “Pilates Nazi”. Nothing changed on my body, and her routine was the same every class. But a friend that looks really good urged me to find a place to try it.

I googled Pilates and found Boston Body. When I called, I got you, dear Zayna. As soon as I came in, I was sold. I never realized at the time that you had opened that very week! It was Fate!

From the very first, I was captivated. I adored the equipment. The sessions were fun, varied, and I looked forward to them. The very best? True to your advertisement, I could see a difference in my body after 10 sessions. I had only been coming for three weeks when I went to visit my brother and sister-in-law. I had only lost 6 pounds by this time, but the change in my body was so apparent they were dumbfounded. Even without this feedback, I was hooked, and coming to BB had turned into a habit. By Christmas I had lost 17 pounds (yes, I dieted also) and I had lost 8 inches from my belly and 6 inches from my waist. In all of my years of exercising I had never come close to these results.

Boston Body has become part of my life, and an very enjoyable one at that. I am astonished that after averaging 5 classes a week for a year, I eagerly look forward to my hour with you all every day. Zayna, you are always charming and fun and I like to think of you as a friend. I adore all of my teachers, many whom I regard as friends. (Cute little Kristen as well). I have made many friends in class as well.

So I conclude in thanking you in profoundly changing my life, and in adding to it in so many ways. Again, I never go out of my way to tell people these things, but I wanted you to know how much you have meant to me.
